Nagi continues her display of consternation at another girl embracing Hayate. Linn Regiostar is ejected from his room when Yozora decides to move in. In the ensuing argument with Hayate (who promises to throw out Linn's otaku-esque collection), Yozora looks in. Whether or not she can see Linn is unclear; after a brief shock, Hayate and Linn dismiss the possibility. Yozora gets herself kicked out of the Violet Mansion when she makes one advance too many towards Hayate, invoking Nagi's wrath. Hayate muses briefly about Yozora (not knowing her name). It is revealed to the audience that she is working undercover for an unknown body, investigating something to do with Hayate. The chapter ends with the sinister profile of Yozora, a new antagonist.
Linn holds a nendoroid figure of Nodoka Manabe and tells Hayate of how people feel like dying when their favourite anime ends, referencing the recently-concluded second series of K-On!! in which Nodoka appears as a minor character.
