Differences in the Manga[]

Chapter 72
  • In the beginning of this episode, Kazuki's flashback to when he first met Nagi has been altered. In this episode, after having noticed tears in her eyes as she was staring at the cherry blossoms, Kazuki asks Nagi if she was crying then hands her a handkerchief and introduces himself to her before being interrupted by the Sanzenin SP. In the manga, Kazuki awkwardly asks her if the cherry blossoms where in bloom before asking her what she was doing. Afterwards, Nagi reveals to him that she was staring at a piece of paper attached to a balloon in a tree and prepares to climb the tree to retrieve it before Kazuki offers to go in her place.
    • Additionally, in the manga. this scene takes place during Kazuki's flashback to when he was talking to Wataru.
  • In the Sanzenin Mansion, after Nagi had left the room feeling discouraged after Hayate had retrieved a box of cookies from a high shelf for her, Hayate asks Maria if he had done something wrong before asking her if she would like a cookie. This is not present in this episode.
  • Afterwards, while discussing Nagi's problem with the mansion being too big for her, Hayate and Maria are both shown sitting down at a table while drinking tea. In the manga, only Maria was sitting.
  • After having discussed Nagi's inferiority complex, Hayate tells Maria that he was worried about Nagi and prepares to check on her. This is not present in this episode.
  • At Rental Video V Tachibana, after Kazuki asks if his sister came to the video store a lot, Wataru confirms to him that she does and mentions that she only rents boring stuff. In the manga, Saki answers Kazuki's question and tells him that they where grateful for her business.
    • Additionally in this scene, Wataru is seen reading a magazine entitled "Good Job". In the manga, it was called "News Week".
  • Afterwards, Kazuki asks Wataru if Nagi was doing well, to which he tells him that he should ask her himself. In the manga, Wataru tells him that Nagi had caught a cold recently, causing Kazuki to panic.
Chapter 73
  • After having confessed his love for her, Nagi asks Kazuki why he said that all of a sudden, to which he responds to her that it was not all of a sudden as he put his hands on her shoulders. In the manga, Kazuki slammed the palm of his left hand on the wall behind Nagi.
  • Upon seeing Nagi excited at the train station, Kazuki asks her if it was her first time being there, to which she confirms to him that it was and notes that she mostly had traveled by car or helicopter. This is not present in this episode.
  • After having boarded the train, the scenes showing Hayate observing Nagi and Kazuki as they enjoyed their train ride and then bought crepes is not present in the manga.
  • At the arcade, in the shooting game Nagi is shown playing she is shooting masked soldiers. In the manga, she was shooting at zombies.
  • After having finished, Kazuki complements Nagi's skills on the game, to which she mentions to him that she owns a shooter arcade game, but didn't like it because she could never beat Maria. This is absent in this episode.
  • After having observed Nagi and Kazuki play multiple games, the three thugs dialogue to themselves as they decided to mug Nagi and Kazuki. This is omitted in this episode.
    • Additionally, the thug to the left of the thug resembling Zangief, heavily resembles Guile. In the manga, he resembled Dhalsim.
  • After having stopped the thug's plans of mugging Nagi and Kazuki, Hayate comically throws them out of the arcade. This is not present in the manga.
  • After having left the arcade, Kazuki offers to take Nagi on a boat ride while in a park. In the manga, he offers to take her while in the arcade.
  • Before being escorted back to the Sanzenin Mansion, Nagi tells Kazuki that she still has his handkerchief and offers to return it to him the next time they meet. In the manga, Nagi asks him what was attached to the balloon, to which he tells her that it was a rejection letter.
Chapter 74
  • As Ayumu asks Wataru if something happened to her brother, her outfit had been altered for this scene. In this episode, Ayumu wore a blue frilly short sleeve shirt over a pink turtle neck. In the manga, she wore hooded short sleeve shirt over a long sleeve crew neck shirt.
  • Having decided to see what happened between the two of them, Wataru visits the Sanzenin Mansion to ask Nagi directly on what happened with Kazuki. In this scene Nagi's outfit had been altered. In this episode, Nagi wore a ruffled black sleeveless shirt over a long sleeved light blue T-shirt and striped over the knee socks. In the manga, she wore a light colored long sleeve shirt over a black shirt and a long skirt with ankle length socks.
  • During Nagi's monologue of why Hayate didn't seem jealous on her "date" with Kazuki, Hayate is shown arranging flowers. In the manga, Hayate was shown to be moving an empty vase.
  • After Nagi had given Hayate a kiss on the check, Maria is seen peeking at them through a doorway. In the manga, she was looking at them through a curtain.
  • Afterwards, Maria notes to herself that Nagi is cute as she watches her go back to her room. This is not present in the manga.
  • The following day, Maria asks Saki if she was surprised about how "adult-like" Wataru can be. This is not present in this episode.
    • Additionally, the scene where Wataru informs Kazuki that Ayumu was worried is also not present in this episode.
