  • Before closing the elevator door on Hinagiku, Hayate's line of "how the elevator went all the way to the top, I came up short... what a fall" is absent in this episode.
  • As Hinagiku was yelling at Hayate, the Hakuo clock tower is shown to be 2:00. In the manga, it was 4:56.
  • Afterwards, Hayate explaining to Maria the punch line to his pun on the elevator is also absent in this episode.

  • After having returned to the Sanzenin Mansion, Maria looks at the aftermath of what Nagi had done earlier and wonders how she was able to do so much damage to the kitchen in three hours. This is not present in this episode.
  • Upon returning to the Katsura residence, Mrs. Katsura tells Hayate that she would be working the night shift and asks him to make Hinagiku's dinner. This is absent in this episode.

This is absent in this episode.
  • As Hayate and Hinagiku head toward the checkout, a bunch of annoyed customers stare at them for there "friendly" high school conversation. In the manga, it was an annoyed supermarket employee who stared at them.
  • As they prepared dinner, Hinagiku tells Hayate that each of them would make a dish for that night. Hayate interprets this as a "cooking battle" between the two of them. This is absent in this episode.
  • While the two of them are chopping vegetables, eight annoyed pigeons outside the window stare at Hayate and Hinagiku for acting like a newlywed couple. In the manga, there was only one pigeon staring at them.

    • Additionally, Ayumu telling Hayate that she was picked up and brought to the Katsura residence is also absent in this episode.
  • After Ayumu had suggested that they should feed the kitten, Hinagiku contemplates on giving the kitten milk to which Hayate informs her that milk would upset its stomach and it needed special milk. This is absent in this episode.
  • After Hayate left to buy cat supplies from a pet store, Hinagiku asks Ayumu why she ruined that chance she gave her to which the latter says that she wasn't mentally prepared.
