Chapter 142

During her flashback to when she was looking for a part-time job, Chiharu contemplates to herself on finding a job where she could wear a cute uniform. In this scene, Chiharu discovers Maid Café Himawari as she was walking past it. In the manga, Chiharu notices the café as she was playing a claw crane machine at a nearby arcade.
After Chiharu had applied at Maid Café Himawari, the narrator notes that Chiharu's father's company didn't go out of business after an investment group showed up. In the manga, Chiharu was informed this by her mother after she had returned home.
After Sakuya had finished talking to Hayate on the phone, Sakuya informs Wataru that he was the only childhood friend of hers that had come. Afterwards she notes that Isumi had gotten lost as usual. This is not present in the manga.

Chapter 141

Before watching Wataru perform on stage, Chiharu tells Sakuya that her friend had a lot of courage, to which Sakuya tells her that he was a hero in a past life. This is absent in this episode.
As the audience applauded Wataru for his performance, one of the ropes holding the sign behind him snaps. This is not present in the manga.

Chapter 142

As Sakuya and Chiharu leave the performance hall, Aika stops Sakuya and asks her if she could speak with her maid for a moment. Sakuya then tells Chiharu that she'll be in Wataru's waiting room. In the manga, after they had exited the performance hall, Chiharu attempts to talk to Aika before Sakuya tells her that she was going to Wataru's waiting room. Chiharu then attempts to go with her before Aika asks Sakuya if she could speak to her maid for a moment.

Chapter 141

When Isumi had walked into the waiting room and misinterpreted what happened with Sakuya and Wataru, she is shown to be wearing a plain pink kimono. In the manga, Isumi wore a floral patterned kimono and a stole.
After Nagi and Hayate entered the waiting room, Nagi hands Sakuya her present. In this episode, her gift is shown to have striped wrapping paper. In the manga, the gift had a floral and striped wrapping.
After Sakuya had reminded Hayate that he had to entertain her for her birthday, Maria enters the waiting room and apologizes to everyone for being late. This is not present in the manga.

Chapter 143

After Hinata had called Hayate a molester, she yells out that she is going to be kidnapped. In the manga, she said that she was being touched.
After having learned that Sakuya had two more sisters and a foster mother in the mansion, Hayate brings up the Aizawa families' illegitimate child Gilbert. This leads to an awkward moment before Mr. Aizawa breaks the tension by telling Hayate that foreign countries are scary. This is absent in this episode.

Chapter 145

After Sakuya hit her father for having offered to show Nagi his "famous nude talk show", Sakuya is shown to be yelling at him by herself. In the manga, Sakuya, Hinata and Asato all yelled at him.
