So Kaibara-san decides to make the unit promote their concert at the Anisong Autumn Concert. First, Futaba, Ichigo, and Rin think that they will have the time on stage, but the truth is they only have to hand out flyers in front of the concert halls. They still end up filling their concert hall with 200 people in the end. After hearing the news about the seating, Ichigo accidentally sprains her ankle while practicing. What will happen to their concert? |

Synopsis
While waiting in the recording room for both Ichigo and Rin, who have been busy after the Earphones Unit debuted, Futaba gets news from Aoi Konno about program regular work in the anime Western Detective. She's really happy that she will work with Ryoko Shiraishi who taking part in this anime. She decides to practice her role but nearly ends up dying from forgetting to breath.

- Before reading through the script for Western Detective, Futaba remarks on how Ryoko Shiraishi would be in it and how she also played the main character in the butler anime she loved. During this scene, Hayate Ayasaki from Hayate no Gotoku! briefly appears behind her.
- The cast of the anime Western Detective does their recording at Sound Team Don Juan Studio. This is a reference to the real life Sound Team Don Juan Studio.
- Ryoko Shiraishi guest stars as herself in this episode and she also voices Hayate Ayasaki, one of the main characters in the Hayate no Gotoku! Anime.
- She's also best known for voicing Aoi Nogami from the Zettai Karen Children series, Kaede Nagase from the Negima! Magister Negi Magi & Negima!? series, Akari Hinomoto & Mervamon & Opossummon from the Digimon Xros Wars series and Kazue Takanashi from the Working!! series.
- As Futaba, Ichigo and Rin practice their choreography, outside their lesson room, a poster featuring a band called Aice5 is shown. This is a reference to the real life Japanese band Aice5.
- After Ichigo asked Futaba and Rin for the rest of the cover songs, Rin suggests the popular Japanese folk song Tsubasa wo Kudasai. Although this song is not originally an anime song, it was featured in several anime such as K-On! episode 1, Nichijou Episode 14, and Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.
- Masumi Asano, the writer of Sore ga Seiyuu! guest stars as herself and one of the members of Aice5 during the Anison Concert in this episode.
- Additionally, the other members of Aice5 (Yui Horie, Akemi Kanda, Madoka Kimura, and Chiaki Takahashi) also guest star as themselves on the stage.
- During the ending credits, Futaba, Ichigo and Rin briefly sing along to the opening theme song "Happy☆Material Beloved Version", a variation of "Happy☆Material" from the series Negima! Magister Negi Magi, of which Ryoko Shiraishi, (this episodes guest) voices a supporting character and sings 3 versions of this song (Beloved Version, 31 Girl Version, and Return Version) by herself along with other Negima voice actresses.
